Frequently Asked Questions
What power source is needed to connect the shipping container electrical package installation?
The system connects via an external CEE industrial inlet socket. Depending on the chosen configuration, you can plug into a standard 230V 16A single-phase supply or a 400V 16A or 32A three-phase power source from a site distribution box, generator, or building mains with full compatibility.
Is electrical wiring inside an all-steel container completely safe?
Yes, our installations strictly follow industrial electrical safety standards. All circuits are protected by a highly sensitive 30 mA residual current device (RCD), and the steel chassis is bonded to a dedicated ground stud and external earth rod to eliminate all electric shock hazards completely.
Can the electrical package power heavy machinery like welders and compressors?
Yes, our 400V three-phase electrical packages include dedicated high-capacity CEE red outlets wired back to individual miniature circuit breakers, providing ample steady power for heavy welders, large air compressors, hydraulic presses, vehicle lifts, and demanding workshop machinery. Our technical team is available to assist with specifications, site preparation, and rapid European dispatch for your facility.
Are the electrical cables run on the surface or concealed behind walls?
In bare utility containers, cables are housed in impact-resistant rigid surface conduits and IP65 junction boxes. When combined with our interior insulation and lining packages, wiring can be run concealed in flexible protective conduits behind the wall paneling for a clean flush architectural appearance.
Is an electrical test certificate provided with the installation?
Yes, every completed installation undergoes full electrical testing covering insulation resistance, earth continuity, loop impedance, and RCD trip timing. A formal test report and circuit schematic diagram are supplied inside the distribution board for building inspectors and insurance auditors.
